Auto Cars
About project
Auto Cars is a ride-booking platform I designed as a personal project, built around one line: your journey, your control. Riders can request a car now, schedule one for later, or compare nearby drivers and pick the one they want. Drivers get their own side of the product to apply, share their location and take requests.
Designed and prototyped in Figma, with every screen wireframed first and then brought to life in one bold yellow. Highlights include a map beside every step of the ride, a Trusted badge on drivers, and a fixed yellow rail that keeps Home, Rides, Schedule and Profile one click away.

Overview
Auto Cars splits into two journeys that start on the same screen: Apply to Drive or Sign up to Ride. Riders enter a pickup and destination, choose a driver and wait with the car, fare and arrival time in view. Drivers set their location, see who needs a ride and pick one up. A rating closes the loop.

The Problem
Booking a ride often means taking whichever car the app picks and finding out the rest later. I wanted the rider to stay in charge: see who is nearby, how far away they are and what the trip costs before confirming, and plan a return trip or a ride next week as easily as one right now, all of it readable at a glance.
Identity

Circular Std
Secondary
Panchang
Process
Define
Mapped two journeys from one entry screen: apply to drive or sign up to ride
Wireframe
Wireframed all 13 screens in black and white before choosing a single colour
Brand
Picked one strong yellow, a wide Panchang wordmark and a friendly 3D taxi
Design
Built the rider flow, then the driver side with its own requests and profile
Prototype
Linked every screen in Figma with 150 interactions and smart-animate transitions
Detail
Rounded it out with call booking, return trips, scheduled rides and driver ratings
Learnings
L01
Wireframes settle layout before colour
L02
A fixed rail shrinks a big flow
L03
Showing the fare early removes doubt
Outcomes
Auto Cars stands as a complete, clickable prototype of both the rider and driver journeys. Next I'd test booking with real riders and design the phone version, where ride booking really lives.
